Adoptions & Rescue

Sometimes, a family is unable to keep their pet due to unforeseen circumstances, while some other times, an animal may have come from a bad situation and just needs a loving forever home. Whatever the situation, we are here to help. Our love for reptiles and amphibians goes far beyond just love of our own animals, but to also help those animals in need find a happy, healthy home. This is done as another way of providing a needed service for the community, while also providing another avenue and source for expertise for DNR, local emergency responders, animal shelters and humane societies, and other rescue organizations occasionally dealing with or encountering these animals during their lines of work.

We also partner and work with other reputable rescue organizations as well, such as Badgerland Reptile Rescue [Insert Link], and Others. Unfortunately, we are normally unable to take in green iguanas, and red-eared sliders and other aquatic turtles, but this is on a case-by-case basis. If we are unable to take in your pet, we may still be able to provide resources, by sharing them on social media or by adding them to this page. To find animals we may have currently available for adoption, check back periodically to this page or check out our monthly meetings for an adoptable animal showcase!
