When it comes to herpetoculture, or the keeping and breeding of reptiles and amphibians, having a solid, well-functioning incubator is often one of the most important aspects for this process.

Reptiles and amphibians can be found in nearly all areas of the world, except perhaps Antarctica, and in nearly all types of habitats, biomes, or natural communities.

But what about if one is interested in a “vegetarian” species of reptile or amphibian? Are there species which do not require any such rodent, or meat based diets, insects, fish, or any other sources of “live” feeders for that matter? Never fear, as it turns out, there are still options for you when it comes to a pet reptile!

However, one aspect to maintaining a pet snake which at least some might find to be a somewhat squeamish and unappealing aspect of their care, is that fact that a vast majority of species of snakes require rodents. But what if we told you there are some snakes out there which don’t require rodents?
